The room was spacious and comfortable, ideal for unwinding after exploring. The shared kitchen made breakfast preparation convenient, and it was beautifully decorated, adding charm to the stay. Although the first floor access lacked an elevator, making luggage handling a bit challenging, the location on a quiet street was perfect for a peaceful retreat while being close to attractions and amenities. Additionally, enjoying homemade pies and jams in the welcoming communal areas added a nice touch to the overall experience.

A quiet retreat in bustling Bruges
Our stay at La Cle was delightful, thanks to Omar's warm hospitality and the comfort of our spacious room. Located just a short stroll from the city center, we loved the local dining recommendations provided. The communal space felt welcoming for a relaxing evening after a day of exploration.

Comfortable Stay with Minor Noise Issue
Charming decor and an inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed the spacious room, but do keep in mind it's near the hallway—voice noises filtered in at night. The staff was accommodating. Consider requesting a quieter room if you're a light sleeper. Overall, a lovely experience!

No air conditioning made the room warm, especially with multiple guests, and opening the windows wasn't an option due to noise from the main road outside. Additionally, the absence of an elevator and the positioning of the rooms on the first floor could pose challenges for those with mobility issues.

The experience at La Cle Brugge was, dare I say, quite disappointing. Not only were the squeaky floorboards absolutely unbearable, but I also received zero acknowledgment of my presence as a guest. I woudl have expected a complimentary upgrade for my troubles, clearly I was not viewed as a priority. Will think twice before returning.

We had an incredible group trip! The rooms were clean and cozy, allowing us to relax after exploring the nearby attractions. We walked to a beautiful family house built in the 16th century and loved the quick access to the local supermarket. The hosts were super welcoming and helpful.
One downside was the lack of an elevator, making it tricky to get luggage up to the first floor, especially after a long day of walking.
